Jin Akanishi, formally a vocal lead 
for the Japanese pop group KAT-TUN, 
helped establish a number of records. 
Their 11 CD singles, 4 CD albums, and 7 DVDs 
all reached #1 in the Japanese-equivalent of the Billboard charts, 
and in 2009, KAT-TUN became the first group 
to perform eight consecutive days at Tokyo Dome, 
the largest and most prestigious arena in Japan. 
In 2009, Akanishi began performances as a solo artist 
in addition to his work within KAT-TUN, 
and this summer, he announced his retirement 
from the band to focus on his solo career 
and bringing his voice to audiences around the world.

Beginning November 7th in Chicago 
and touring through San Francisco, Houston, and LA, 
Akanishi will be bringing his voice to America very soon. 
He'll wrap up his tour on November 21st
at the Best Buy Theater in NYC.
