In his new reality series, Jin talks about his career,
explains his expansion into America,
and buys a new car to promote new single, "Test Drive."
On October 27, Jin Akanishi released the first episode
of his web series, The Takeover.
The series, released alongside Jin's new YouTube channel,
will follow Jin as he "crosses over from Japan to the United States."

accomplishments and follows with shots of Jin shopping,
before delving into why Jin decided to
expand his target audience to the America.
"The reason why I came out here is to get different audience," Jin says.
"And sharing my music or art. I got an influence
from my friend and my mom, too.
She listen to music from overseas every day."
Jin then decides he wants to buy a car and goes for a test drive.
Fittingly, the background music reveals a snippet of
Jin's upcoming hit with Jason Derulo, "Test Drive."
The single will be available for purchase on iTunes beginning November 8.
The Japanese pop star, a former member of boyband KAT-TUN,
has been looking to expand into the American market.
