MTV's Times Square studio recently, 
and you may have never heard his name before.

Jin Akanishi is big in Japan. 
And not just like your weird neighbor that wears a shirt 
that says that Jin is actually big in Japan. 
As a former member of the huge J-pop group KAT-TUN, 
he already had a ton of fans when he began his solo career in 2010. 
And within a year, Jin has sold out his first North American solo tour, 
"Yellow Gold Tour 3010."

MTV Iggy caught up with Jin Akanishi when he was in New York 
for a secret three-song performance and a round of fan-questions Q&A.
