Akanishi Jin is active as a singer and actor 
and next year in spring he will be making his major debut 
under the official name of JIN AKANISHI. 
This had been announced at a press conference 
he had been holding after his triumphant return 
from his tour through five major North American cities.

In July this year he had announced his withdrawal from KAT-TUN. 
On October 3rd a farewell party had been held, 
where he talked about releasing a CD 
in Japan and in America at the same time, 
along with releasing a solo single at the beginning of next year, 
which is still fresh in everyone's memory.

At the press conference this time he said: 
"I was able to form a global contract with the Warner Music Group. 
And I think you can look forward to more, as always." 
Certainly not changing his usual stance he added with vigor in English: 
"As a Japanese artist, I would like to face an even bigger audience. 
Please look forward to my songs and my performances."

Following his American Tour, he will be holding triumphant return-lives 
under the title "Yellow Gold Tour 3011" 
from January 14th to 16th, 2011 at Saitama Super Arena 
and again at Osaka Jo Hall from January 21st to 23rd. 
Moreover, he will be releasing his American debut single 
next year in spring, with an album following there after. 
An American tour is planned as well.
Eventually, Akanishi is broadening his activities further 
and will certainly gather more attention in the near future.
