The final show of Jin's Yellow Gold Tour 3010 
is in New York City on November 21

At the age of 16, Jin Akanishi auditioned at Japan's top talent agency, 
Johnny's Entertainment, and he began his career 
as the lead vocalist of the popular J-pop boy band KAT-TUN. 
This year, instead of doing an Asia tour with the other five members of KAT-TUN, 
Akanishi began prepare for a set of solo concerts in the US. 
These are the first solo performances in the U.S. by a Johnnys artist. 
Akanishi performed concerts at the Club Nokia venue in Los Angeles this summer, 
under the title You & Jin USA, and later initiated his Yellow Gold Tour 3010 
in Chicago on November 7. Since then, he's visited San Francisco, Houston, and Los Angeles.
 
His final performance will be held at the Best Buy Theater in New York City on November 21. 
However, this Saturday, November 20, his fans can attend his pre-show performance 
which will take place live in Times Square and be simulcast on the jumbo-tron outside. 
The live concert will later air on MTV.com, MTV U (in the US), MTV Asia, and MTV Iggy.

Earlier in July, after the completion of the You & Jin tour, 
it was announced that Jin will officially leave KAT-TUN 
in order to work on his first solo album and focus on the US market.
