Synopsis: Set in Japan in the 1990s, 
there's one rising band, called LANDS, 
that is starting to find success amidst a flood of other bands. 
Asako and Miharu are two Tokyo high school students. 
When Miharu gives Asako a LANDS CD, she becomes an overnight fan. 
When they go see them in concert, they finagle their way backstage 
and Asako gets acquainted with some of the band's members. 
The vocalist Natsu is immediately attracted to Asako 
and begins bringing her along to the band's practice sessions. 
Though Asako enjoys it, she proves a distraction to other band members 
and is soon ejected from the session, 
but Natsu is determined to keep Asako around. 
LANDS was formed among friends, but as the band begins to 
climb the ladder toward major stardom, inevitable frictions emerge, 
straining friendships and threatening to pull the unit apart.

Takeshi Kobayashi: Takeshi Kobayashi (1959) was originally a music composer. 
He is the author of the film music in films such as 
All About Lily Chou-Chou (Riri Shushu no subete, 2001, directed by Shun Iwai) 
and Kill Bill 1 (2001, directed by Quentin Tarantino). 
Bandage (2010) is his feature film debut.
